When your child or teen has an injury that impacts physical activity or performance on the field, The Ironman Sports Medicine Institute's physicians and sports medicine experts are prepared to help them get back in the game.
The Pediatric Sports Medicine program is focused on providing the highest level of operative and nonoperative care for the young growing athlete. Because the growing athlete is very different than the adult athlete, we carefully consider those differences in our approach to treatment and employ the latest arthroscopic treatments when indicated.
We partner with other pediatric specialists including physical therapy and radiology to deliver this care.
Our program functions through the Ironman Sports Medicine Institute and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital to bring the full complement of resources to each and every treatment phase.
