Chris Slocum is the Regional ISMI Sport Performance Director for Athlete Training and Health.Chris received his Masters in Education and Coaching from Houston Baptist University where is served as Director of Strength and Condoning. Prior to his time at HBU, Chris graduated with his Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of Mount Union. While at Mount Chris played football and ran track for the Raiders.
Chris has worked as an assist strength and conditioning coach at The Ohio State University where he worked with the football and Olympic sport programs, Chris was also an assistant football strength and conditioning coach at the University of Houston. Chris holds numerous certifications in the S&C field and has coached at multiple sports performance facilities.
Outside of work Chris enjoys competing in mixed martial arts, hanging out with his dog, friends and family.
