Brett Singer MS, RD, CSSD, LD
Singer holds a BS in nutrition from Texas Christian University and an MS in nutrition from Texas Woman's University. Brett began his career as a clinical dietitian with Memorial Hermann TMC before transitioning into his role as a sports dietitian at Memorial Hermann IRONAN Sports Medicine Institute. Through is role with Memorial Hermann he has served as a sports dietitian at Houston Baptist University, Sugar Land Skeeters Baseball, Athlete Training and Health NFL Combine and Pro Day Camp, and as a consulting dietitian for Gatorade Sports Science Institute with the NBA G-League. Through Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitian Association, Brett was selected as one of ten mentors nationally for the 2017 Gatorade Sports Nutrition Immersion Program.
In addition to his role at Memorial Hermann, he is an adjunct professor in the Master of Athletic Training Program at University of Houston where he teaches Nutrition for Sports Performance.
Brett enjoys teaching and has had the privilege of lecturing at multiple notable conference including Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo, Sports Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition Symposium, Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitian Association Annual Conference, National High School Strength Coaches Association National Conference, Texas Physical Therapy Association, Southwestern Athletic Trainer Association, Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and more.
In addition to attending and speaking at conferences, Brett and his colleagues developed the Texas Sports Nutrition Symposium as an opportunity for local and state sports dietitians to collaborate and learn from one another.
